Description

Spend a full, unforgettable day exploring Yellowstone’s richest wildlife habitat and dramatic waterfalls on this family-friendly day of guided adventure. Ideal for groups looking to spend more time out of the vehicle and exploring, your expert local guide will lead you through the wildlife-filled Hayden Valley, along the shores of Yellowstone Lake, and to scenic cascades at Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

With a relaxed pace that favors time out of the vehicle, you’ll enjoy focused wildlife viewing — bison, elk, deer, osprey, and, season permitting, bears and wolves — while learning the park’s natural and cultural stories from a guide who knows where and when animals are most active.

The tour runs approximately 7–9 hours, includes pickup from West Yellowstone and select nearby lodging, and features a picnic-style lunch, snacks, binoculars and a spotting scope, and an air-conditioned vehicle for comfortable travel between stops. You’ll hike short, scenic trails on canyon rims for spectacular photo opportunities, stroll Yellowstone Lake’s shoreline, and pause at multiple lookout points to soak in panoramic views and cascading water.

This private experience is ideal for families, photographers, and anyone who wants a flexible, educational day in the park — tailored to your interests and fitness level. Guides emphasize safety and responsible viewing practices while maximizing time at the best wildlife and waterfall vantage points. Bring layered clothing, sturdy shoes, and your camera; Yellowstone rewards curiosity and patience.
