What are your hours of operation?
We are in the office 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time. If you have an urgent question or issue on Sunday, we often check messages and can answer your question in a timely manner.
What is the best way to contact you?
The best way to reach us is by emailing at [email protected] or sending an inquiry from the reservation you are trying to book. We respond to all messages within 24 hours. You may also call or text 406-200-8325.
Can you recommend local places to eat or things to do in town?
Absolutely! Check out the blog posts under the Plan section of the website to learn about some of our favorite places to eat and recommendations for what to do in town when you're not on tour. Don’t ever hesitate to ask us any questions!
How does Tourbase work? Are you a tour operator?
Tourbase is run by a team of locals that has vetted and partnered with our favorite tour operators. How far is downtown Bozeman from the airport?
Downtown Bozeman is approximately 10 miles, or about a 15-minute drive, from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). Several convenient transportation options are available, including shuttles, taxis, and rideshare services, ensuring easy access to and from the airport.

What is Book Now/Pay Later?
The Book Now, Pay Later option requires a 5% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. You will see this option during checkout. The remaining balance is automatically processed several days before the date of the first tour on your invoice. If your card is declined, your reservation will be canceled, but of course we will try to contact you to collect payment before cancelling your tour.
Can I pay in cash?
We require payment at the time of booking and do not accept cash. We accept all credit cards including American Express. Of course cash is great to tip your guides if you're pleased with the service.

Am I guaranteed to see wildlife?
While the Bozeman area is home to abundant wildlife like elk, bison, and deer, wildlife sightings are not guaranteed on every tour. Tours that specifically focus on wildlife viewing will offer better chances. Keep your eyes open — wildlife can often surprise you along the way!
My child is just below the required weight/age restriction. Can they still come?
Safety regulations require us to follow strict age and weight limits for many of our tours. However, some tours may offer flexibility. Please contact us so we can help find the best option for your family.
Do you provide food?
Many of our tours include food, from simple trail snacks to hearty meals. Check the details on each tour page for specifics. If you have dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate where possible.

What should I wear on my Bozeman tour?

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the tour. Generally, cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before departure, but some tours may require more notice. Please check the details on your selected tour or contact us for more information.
Do I get fully refunded if I cancel my tour?
We get it, plans change. Thus you'll get a full refund as long as you cancel in advance of the cancellation window (i.e. 24 hours or the specific window for your tour). If you choose to use our "Book Now, Pay Later" feature and only pay 5% to book your tour rather than the full amount, the 5% is non-refundable.
Preparing For Your Tour
What if I didn't receive a confirmation email?
Once you have booked your tour and we have received all of the necessary information from you, you will be emailed a confirmation with a voucher attached. The voucher is what you need to print and take with you, or have pulled up on your phone, as it contains your detailed meeting instructions. If you have not received a confirmation email within 24 hours of booking your tour please call us at 406-200-8325
Is transportation provided?
Will the trip still operate if it is raining?
Our tours in Bozeman operate rain or shine. Light rain or cloudy skies won’t stop us, so please come prepared. Your safety is always our top priority — if conditions become dangerous, such as during a severe storm or lightning, we will cancel the tour and issue a full refund. Please check the specific tour page for weather-related details.
Will my tour be canceled if there is bad weather?
In Bozeman, we are used to quickly changing weather conditions. Most tours will go ahead despite some rain or wind. However, if extreme weather makes it unsafe to operate, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund.
