Description

Step into the world of dog sledding with a hands-on adventure near Yellowstone National Park. This is more than just a ride—you’ll learn to guide your own sled team, work alongside experienced mushers, and connect with the dogs that make it all possible.

Experience the thrill of mushing with a Yellowstone Dog Sledding Adventure. This 2.5-hour tour is designed for travelers who want more than just a ride—it’s about learning, teamwork, and connecting with sled dogs.

After a short introduction from your guide, you’ll meet the dogs and learn the basics of handling a sled team. Participants weighing at least 120 pounds will have the chance to drive their own sled, while younger guests can enjoy the ride. The focus is on working with the dogs and gaining confidence as a musher.

This is not a sightseeing tour. Instead, it’s an interactive experience where you’ll actively guide your sled, encourage your team, and share in the excitement of moving across the snow. Families, couples, and solo travelers alike will find the adventure both fun and memorable.

By the end, you’ll leave with a new appreciation for sled dogs and the skills it takes to mush. This is one of the most hands-on winter activities available near Yellowstone National Park.
