Step into the world of dog sledding with a hands-on adventure just outside Yellowstone National Park. This is more than just a scenic tour—you’ll learn to guide your own sled team, work alongside experienced mushers, and connect with the dogs that make it all possible.

Following a thorough introduction from your guide, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the dogs and learn the beginning skills of handling a sled team. Participants weighing at least 120 pounds can take the reins and drive their own sled, while younger guests can bundle up for a cozy ride. The emphasis is on collaborating with the dogs and building confidence as a musher.

This adventure offers a fun and memorable experience for families, couples, and solo travelers alike.

By the end, you’ll leave with a new appreciation for sled dogs and the skills it takes to mush. This is one of the most hands-on winter activities available near Yellowstone National Park.
